On the 30th of November the troop put up lights on a couple of signs around the Community Center and at the sides of Brodie. The troop is very happy to be the Community Center and I hope everyone had a good time.

Family Picnic!

On November 15 the troop had a grand family picnic. Everyone had an amazing time, Mr. Kennedy cooked some amazing barbecue, and we had lots of games to play. It was an amazing day too, I hope everyone had a good time.

New SPL Sworn In!

John Hearn former ASPL of Leadership was sworn in last week, along with all the other leadership roles. John seems very excited and has plans to make meetings fun and not just people sitting around in a room listening to announcements. People are excited to see what he has planned for this troop.

ZOMBIES!

Everyone had a great time at the Zombie Campout (February 21-23). It was at Camp Green Dickson. After the flag ceremony we built catapults, worked on lashings, and played the fun game of wolf No zombie apocalypse is going to catch Troop 448 by surprise.

 Here are some photos.

Hope everyone had a good time.

CUPCAKE ADVENTURE WALK

On Friday, August16th, the Troop put together a cupcake walk at the ACTS Carnival. It was called the Cupcake Adventure Walk and consisted of a ladder (cliff) where you would jump into bubble wrap with stuffed sharks (shark infested water) you would then crawl through a tunnel with snakes and bats. You would then jump across rocks floating on lava, and tightrope walk over an bottomless gorge.  It was a fun way to build fellowship with the St. Catherine's community and the kids loved it.

Everyone worked hard and many people contributed cupcakes.

Camp Alexander

Back in July the Troop went to Camp Alexander in Colorado. Everyone had a good time, but I would like to spotlight Dylan Desai for displaying great leadership qualities, and winning the Camp Director Award.
As we all know it rained almost every day in Colorado but not at all in Texas, where we needed it. I would like to thank the Patrol Leaders Council for choosing a place with cold weather.

Sincerely

The Troop 448 IronMan Team won it all!!!
